Hair: Long, celeste green with purple highlights, and with bangs. When she isn’t wearing a hat she has her hair in two perky pigtails, but with a hat her hair is typically straight down.

Build: Quite short, with strong arms and legs. She has an average sized chest and a slightly pudgy belly.
Distinguishing Features: Her facial stripes are a pinky hue, and she has a small black teardrop mark on her forehead. She has a scar on her left cheek from her childhood that she keeps under a bandage. Her ears are larger than most Miqo'te and perky, and her tail is long and fluffy.General Fashion Tastes: Typically not showing too much skin, but she loves skirts and makes up for it with high socks or boots. She typically dyes all her clothing celeste green or purple.

Her skin is pale and generally unmarred, other than the bandage on her left cheek that hides a small scar from her childhood. She has pinkish stripes on her face and a black teardrop on her forehead. Her hair is long, and mostly celeste green. The tips are lavender, which grew in as she grew older.Her frame is petite, but slightly plump; her legs are thick with muscles. Her nails grow in very sharp, and she typically paints them a dark color.

Eriol was brought to the Azshara family by Marcelloix, a knight of Ishgard. He came upon the young girl when he and the other knights were hunting down poachers nearby. They came across a group of Keeper of the Moon Miqo’te women, and, believing them to be the poachers, the captain of the cavalry swiftly ordered them to be exterminated for the greater good. The fight was rough, but the knights suffered no casualties and quickly laid waste to the clan.As the men packed up their things to continue on their way back to Ishgard, they heard a quiet sound from underneath a fallen tent. It was there that Marcelloix found the young kitten, not more than a few years of age and crying, with a deep, bleeding cut on her left cheek. He was told he shouldn’t bother, to leave her, or to dispose of her to prevent further suffering, but he knew that his sister would be delighted to finally raise a child, as she and her husband were unable to produce children on their own.So, thus he brought the child to his sister, Marielle who was born of a noble house, and her husband Octavel who studied the art of Astrology. Despite the grumblings and judgement of others within Ishgard, they raised the girl as best they could.As a young teen, she showed interest in Octavel’s work with the stars and tarot cards, and was gifted a set of her own and allowed to study her father’s books. She took to it quickly, showing quite an aptitude in the arcane and magic. During her studies, she found passages of information on summoning beasts and more destructive magic, and practiced it in addition to the time magic she was learning from her father.When he learned of her additional studies, he decided that it would be a good idea for her to study in the presence of those more skilled than he, and since he hadn’t much more to teach her with astrology, he directed her to find Limsa Lominsa. He knew there were arcane mages there that could teach her properly and in a much safer environment than her practicing on her own.Her mother disagreed with Eriol leaving, but it was already set in motion. The young Miqo’te felt a pull deep in her core, a stirring of her inner aether. She had to take that trip.Something something she goes to study summoning, also something about Sahariel in here!!

Marielle is Eriol's adoptive mother. They get along very well, although her mother wishes she would have picked something other than Astrology to do. Marielle was born to a high house in Ishgard, but was unable to have children of her own and thus took in Eriol. She was originally ostracized from the other wealthy Ishgardian woman for adopting a Miqo'te, but they did let her back into the group.

Library Information
Eriol's Library is located at The Mist W1P47 in a small floral style cottage. It is always open for visitors and features a scenic yard with a bridge leading to a deck with an astroscope and a second bridge offering private access to a flower garden. The closest aetheryte is Central Mist Subdivision, and the market board and summoning bell are just outside, easily accessible by using the staircase or jumping from the flower garden.

Exterior
The Library is well-known for the lavender roofing, as well as the matching trees on the property. It features a small pond running under the bridge that leads to an over-hanging deck. This deck hosts an astroscope to aid in her astrological research, and a vine covered pergola that offers protection to the two chairs and table at which she enjoys tea with guests. After passing by the two flower-vined tripod plots and well, there is a second bridge that leads to a flower bridge on which she enjoys relaxing. To the left of the doorway is her retainer that oft sells her hand-crafted potions.
Interior - Ground Floor
The ground floor features a well-used library, full of books varying from fiction to those used to study various magics. While Eriol attempts to keep the area tidy, she finds it hard when she is on the hunt for a specific book in her collection. She rarely finds the time to organize the piles of books on the floor, and instead just moves them out of the way to keep paths clear. The chandelier overhead is a reminder to her of the First Dicasterial Observatorium of Aetherial and Astrological Phenomena, which she visited as a child with her adoptive father. On the wall is an old poster of the Elemental Wheel, and in front of it a huggable Gaelicat that was a gift from her best friend Sahariel. She has offered a couch that circles a doman dogwood and a bench between two of the bookshelves in ways of seating, if one would rather not sit upon the floor. It smells strongly in this area of old books and live plants, with the faint hint of incense.
Interior - Basement
The basement of her house is where Eriol does most of her potion-making, studying, and magic work. When first entering the basement from the upper floor, there is a stained glass window with some greens beneath it, as well as a broom lying against the wall. The archway is covered by a purple curtain that is open during business hours and closed when the library is closed. The first thing that is visible upon entering this space is a bubbling cauldron surrounded by various potions, tomes, and crystals. This main space here is Eriol's main work area, and is kept clean in a mainly chaotic way. The smell of incense is strong here, as the incensor is kept in the open on the log shelving unit that also displays some crystals and jars. On the wall opposite the cauldron, there are many hanging planters, herbs, a spice rack, and many potion racks. It appears that she keeps her main tomes neat in this area, with a grimoire open on the big shelving unit here. The wall to the right of the entryway hosts more plants and potions, as well as a clock and a low desk. On this desk sits an astroscope and a potion set, where it appears she was recently working on creating something. Passing through the opening in the back leads to a long desk to the right with a stack of papers, a pile of tomes, and a bookshelf against the wall. To the left there are two more large bookshelves and a couch kept warm by an ongoing fireplace. This side is very cozy, with Eriol dozing off on the couch almost more often than her own bed. Behind the couch is a book-case shaped into a staircase that leads to Eriol's private bedroom area. Her bed is to the right, surrounded by a pile of books and her bedside table hosts her emergency glasses, a cute plush toy, and a lamp. Her carbunkle shaped slippers are kept near the foot of the bed. To the left of her bed is a pile of pillows on the floor with a paint set where she does the occasional painting or sketch, and some more expensive plushies are kept on display in a shelf on the wall. In the middle of the floor closer to the staircase is a table created from a tree stump. This table, the surface of which is circled by candles, hosts another crystal, an elixir, spices, and herbs, as well as a more private Book of Shadows. The green cushion on the ground is well worn, indicating that Eriol spends a lot of time here at this table.
